We are part of the WELS
Salem Ev. Lutheran Church and School is not just a single entity. Salem is part of the third largest Lutheran organization in the United States. Together we proclaim the Gospel of Christ Jesus and work hard to bring it to those that have not heard it. We also strive to carry on that work through the educating and training of pastors and teachers to serve us. Together with the WELS, Salem has many opportunites to meet, guide, offer, or nurture the spiritual growth of you and your family.     Michigan Lutheran Seminary is a four year preparatory high school owned and operated by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Its primary purpose is to train and encourage young people for the pastoral and teaching ministry. This school provides high school education to students from hundreds of our schools across the nation that lack a local Christian high school to attend. Together with Luther Prepatory School and our colleges, our churches ensure we maintain leaders that are trained in and adhere to the truth of God's Word.

    Luther Prep is a four year preparatory high school owned and operated by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Its primary purpose is to train and encourage young people for the pastoral and teaching ministry. This school provides high school education to students from hundreds of our school across the nation that lack a local Christian high school to attend.
  • Martin Luther College
    Martin Luther College is our primary source for scripturally based called teachers and pastors. An accredited college, MLC offers bachelor degrees in pastoral learning, and both bachelor and master degrees in education.
  • Wisconsin Lutheran College
    Wisconsin Lutheran College is a four-year liberal arts college affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. It is located in Milwaukee. The college has a two-semester academic year and awards the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees with liberal arts and professional majors and several pre-professional programs.

    Training Men for Pastoral Ministry Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary exists to provide pastors for the congregations and mission fields of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
