Trusting in Grace - Salem's Future We rejoice and give thanks for what God, in love, has done among us here at Salem throughout the 150 years of its existence. As our 150th anniversary celebration theme reminds us, for 150 years we have been "Abounding in Grace." The future of Salem has yet to be written; it is unknown to all but God. But that ought not be a cause for worry. God;s gracious dealings with Salem is testimony to the unchanging and wise activity of God's grace. Even in the face of membership totals that have waxed and waned, in spite of different called workers coming and going, in spite of the many challenges that Salem has faced down through the years, He has always supplied the material and the human resources necessary to accomplish Salem's mission of proclaiming Christ. May the Lord of the Church continue to supply us with every needed blessing as we carry out the work that He has given us to do!
